The political deadlock in Cambodia now is to be handled by a peaceful and democratic mechanism, no more tactical option, but if there are groups that want to overtake power via a coup and military power, that's really an option between death and alive of your political career and/or physical death, because there is no guarantee that every coup is succeeded.  If you want, you can try it !
