The consequence was an ample disappearance of Kampuchea Krom. Today, Vietnam manipulates its puppets to out the United States from Cambodia, where it can be a sign of history replication.
Coup d’eta is dead, alive options: The political deadlock in Cambodia now is to be handled by a peaceful and democratic mechanism, no more tactical option, but if there are groups that want to overtake power via a coup and military power, that's really an option between death and alive of your political career and/or physical death, because there is no guarantee that every coup is succeeded.
